"1st Annual Sisters of Faith Halloween Party"

On October 18th, my bible group got together at my house and we had our 1st annual Halloween party (right, ladies we are going to continue after all the fun?) with all of our kids. These girls are very special to me and are some of my closest friends and have a strong faith in God.
Well, we had a fantastic time! Each family bought a Halloween Food item and a Halloween Craft or game. So, we had a full afternoon planned.
The creative menu included the following: mummy hot dogs, spider web dip, witches calzones, frankenstein cake, monster mash (trail mix), apple grins (mouths made with apples, peanut buttter and candy corns), and many more wonderful treats.
We began with the food (of course). Then, we started our craft stations. The kids made spiders, a candy corn person, a bat, face painting station, pumpkin decorating, candy necklaces, and more.
We played pin the nose on the pumpkin and the highlight of the party was the Mummy contest. The kids paired up and were to wrap toliet paper around their partner to make the best mummy they could. Well, it was a tie (of course with kidos) and they all were winners. This game was hiliarous. It was a blast. Taylor Simmons was a hoot! She was so still and a great sport as Mrs. Mandy wrapped her up and then at the end after we were all taking pictures and laughing we noticed she was tearing up. We think she was over it as we all were making over how funny it was. She was a doll.
At the end of the party, Mrs. Jenn set up a party favor station. At the station, the kids picked up their party bags and put one item from each bowl. Then, the party favors turned into an activity and they had something to take with them with all the homemade crafts. Thanks girls for a great time! We will have to do it again next year.
Love ya'll!
