The SoloMist Spray Tan is here!

I just got my very belated Mother's Day gift, a spray tan machine. Thanks to Courtney she got me really wanting one. She has one and would spray me occasionaly for special times. It is great for special occasions, going to the beach, weddings or just not wanting to be so white. Ryan is already a pro (we had some fun times figuring out the machine). I posted a few pictures. I am now in business, if you would like a spray tan just call me at 314-0742 or 381-9778. I am only charging $10.00 a spray tan. Most salons in town are anywhere from $42.00-45.00. The proceeds are going to Madi and Maci's cheer account for competitions. So, get a spray for a good cause. I am also going to spray tan at the Edge Cheer center at least one night a week to begin with and see how it goes. I am really excited Jenny is allowing me to spray there. If you have never done it before don't be scared. There are various settings so we can go very light and all the way up. It does look very natural once you shower it off for the first time. So, if you want a tan that's safe, give me a call.

Happy 11th Anniversary!!

Ryan and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary on July 12th. Our gift to each other is our upcoming trip to NYC on July 23rd with our best friends Tracy and Mike who are also celebrating their anniversary. I also had my diamond reset in platinum and got a new anniversary band with diamonds. This was by default I guess you could say, I hadn't planned on changing my ring. But, my fingers for some reason swelled so bad that for about a month I tried everything from butter, ice water, Pam spray, etc to get the rings off. I began to get a boil under one ring. So, I had no choice but to get them cut off. Anyways, they were able to use my same diamond from when we got engaged and placed it in a cathedral setting and instead of getting a plain band, I splurged and got one with diamonds (I am still paying on this one and hope to have it out soon). I was very impressed with Highlands Jewlery store. They have quality jewelry and service. I will post a picture of my rings soon. Well, we went to Don Jose (our favorite) to have dinner and drinks to celebrate not only 11 years together but really 20 years altogether. I love him so much and hope my girls find someone as great for them one day.

Dressin' up Rylee

She looks like a Belly Dancer.

Dressed up in flowers.

What are they doing to me?

Rylee, where are you, she is trying to get up in all this dress material. Yes, that is her bottom.

We watched Rylee the other day while Angie was away with Jon. The girls had so much fun. They decided to play Mommy and of course Rylee was the baby. I think she had at least 4 mommies. But, Rylee loved the attention. Here are a few pictures of Rylee dressed up in the girls dance and play clothes.

Swim Lessons at the YMCA

Madison and Maci took swim lessons for 2 weeks this summer at the Y. They learned so much. I would highly recommend the YMCA. Maci advanced in her class and was the only one who moved up so she got one on one instruction with no one else in her class. It was awesome. Madison had only 2 other kids in her class. So, the ratio of kids to instructors was excellent. Madi learned so much, even boating skills. Maci learned back and front stroke as well as floating. We had a great time but I wasn't able to get too many good pictures. So, here is a few.

Girls Day Out!

We started our Girls Day Out by having a tea lunch at Twin Oaks Tea Room. Ashley and Madi Culverhouse as well as Rylee Brown (one of our good friends daughter) and Maci, Madi and myself all met at the Tea Room. The girls took their American girl dolls to join them for tea. We had a nice relaxing lunch. It is nice our girls are now at the age where they will sit and eat with out too many interruptions. We then headead off for the big movie "American Girl-Kit". Maci has been waiting on this movie forever. She got her very first American Girl doll at Christmas and it was "Kit". So, now her doll was the star. The girls all watched the movie and loved it. It was a sweet and innocent movie with great teachable values. We had a great Girls Day Out!!!

Summer Fun by the Pool!

Our Bible group and family got together and had a picnic lunch and enjoyed swimming for the afternoon. It was a relaxing day and fun to get with everyone. The kids had a blast swimming together and enoying push up pops in the hot sun. Jennifer and Taylor Simmons, Courtney and Dalton, Ashley, Madi and Camden plus Tia joined me, Maci and Madison. We had fun and are looking forward to doing it again soon!!

Courtney and Leighton's Baby Shower

I had a blast helping plan Courtney's baby shower. I love parties and decorating so I was in charge of the flowers and decorations. I was able to use some of my Southern Living products. The shower was done in bright spring colors like: pink, yellow, orange and green. It was beautiful. We had a drop in brunch shower with all the favorite casseroles, bagels, mini cakes, and strawberry lemonade. The hostesses got her a large diaper cake filled with onesies, shampoo, lotion, etc. It was so cute! Courtney had a great time visiting with family and friends and opening up all the pink clothes. Love ya Court!

"Madison Kate just turned eight"

My first born, Madi Kate just turned eight (since she isn't the baby she loves us to call her here first born, whatever works). We sent out invitations that Madi help me make at the ABC house. They were pink with vellum and had dress up stuff such as: nail polish, lipstick, fancy shoes, etc. We had Madi's party at Libby Lou's in the Florida Mall. She invited 5 friends and of course her sissy. So, off we went to Libby Lou's with 7 excited girls. We arrived around 3:00 p.m. and the girls began with their wardrobe. Madison choose the "Diva" look so, they were given purple Hanna Montana dresses to wear. Then they all had their hair, makeup and a manicure. They were all very adorable. After everyone was dressed and ready, the show began. They performed the "Cha, Cha", "We are Family" and did the Limbo with a boa. They loved performing in front of the store. They had several people stop and watch. After the dancing was over, they each got a Libby Lou backpack and were able to pick out 5 items to go in their backpack (such as: lipgloss, hair bows, jewelry, etc). It was the cutest party. It was so funny to watch the girls leave the store and walk through the mall like they were stars. We left Libby Lou's and went to Olive Garden for dinner. We had dinner and the waitress brought out cupcakes for the girls and they all sang. It was a great B-day. If you have a little girl, I would suggest checking it out. They have a website that you can look at all the party packages. My girls love their B-days and I feel it is only once a year so I love to make them feel special for their day. Believe me, they always talk about their parties and when one is done they are ready to plan the next one. We also had family over on Mon. night for the grandparents, cousins, etc. Madison made a cake and I make a 3 berry trifle. It was delicious. Enjoy the many pictures!!!
